A little about Anita Burgermeister...
Years ago when I started my painting business I hired someone to create a website for me. I discovered I needed updates more often than my web designer could keep up with, so I became determined to find a program that would let me make my own changes without becoming an HTML expert. I also wanted to bring my own creativity to the design. A family member recommended Homestead, and after a bit of practice and plenty of trials and errors I fell in love with designing websites.
In the beginning I didn't have a clue about where to begin. Headers, navigation bars, links, meta tags, and html were foreign to me. Even with a do-it-yourself site like Homestead there is a lot to learn if you want more than a basic template. After using their program for many years I am very confident sharing this skill. I can create an artistic website for you that is EASY to maintain and navigate. You can update content, text, photos, music, or videos at your own convenience. With additional design software I create unique backgrounds that will give your site a custom look. My perfect clients would be computer novices, the artistically challenged, or folks that are just too busy to do it themselves.
I have a fine art background and have run a faux finishing and mural painting business since 1998. My eye for color, composition, and creating murals and color palettes for client's homes has given me a knack for finding 'just the right look' for website clients. In addition to my own websites, I've created sites for other artists, entertainers, organizations, businesses, festivals, bands, family reunion sites and more.
